I'm trying to establish if Thomas Headland, needle maker, of Wormwood St,

London, is one of mine but have only one reference to him as a member of the

London Livery in 1796.

Could anyone please come up with anything that might help identify him

further?

The 1791 Livery record on Ancestry states that Thomas Headland lived at 104 Bishopsgate Street and was a cornchandler in the Needlemakers' Company.

The London Magazine below from 1784 lists his bankruptcy. He is recorded as Thomas Headland, late of Norton-Folgate, cornchandler.

Looking at Land Tax records, Thomas Headland was recorded at Bishopsgate Street in 1782, 1783 and 1784. The next sighting is in 1789 and 1790 in Bridge ward and then in Broad Street in 1791 and 1792.

There are some Thomas Headland entries in the London Land Tax Records:

1782-4 Thos Headland 14 Bishopsgate Street
1789-92 Thos Headland 28 Allhallows

(edit - I see Shona already found these.)
