I e-mailed Scotland's People to ask if they had any plans for a subscription package. Their reply:
"Thank you for your query.
The website is currently operated on a ' pay as you go ' basis only and there are no plans by the National Records of Scotland to change this at present.

This is disappointing as at "Who do you think you are?" at Olympia a few years ago we were told that things were changing and they were planning to offer subscriptions.
