Silly question on Discovery

I thought - and I am often mistaken! - that a lot of work had been done so that we could search E179 by parish.

I'm not very good at remembering the hundred in which a parish lies.

I've searched for a couple of parishes in different counties and am getting minimal results.

Is that information there still, or is it lost?

It looks as though you are supposed to search the E179 database instead of Discovery:
http://apps.nationalarchives.gov.uk/e179/search.asp

You have to "lookup" the place name and select it, then do your search of the database.

I had assumed, foolishly, that with all the other databases consolidated, this would have been there too.

Oh, and guess what? Records that I previously found in the Catalogue now have no title at all!!!

Does this mean someone is digitising them?
