I've found this marriage on Ancestry.

It's Harold Edward Yates and Gladys Homer.

Was it usual to give a factory as an address?

I can read World Wear Factory, Sampson Road North then something Hill.

Can't make out that word.

Anyone?

Camp Hill.

I have seen a factory given as an address before - my 2xg-uncle's address when he was an informant on his mother's death certificate, but it only has the number and street on the certificate; I found out it was a factory by looking it up in directories. I think he was the caretaker.

OMG

Phoenix where on earth did you find that. I believe the Edward Birch who is quoted on there was my first cousin twice removed. His grandfather and my 2 x great grandfather died at 2 Fox Hollies Rd. It was the home of his son William and Edwards father.

Edward was born in 1899 in Hall Green according to my tree.
