I couldn't see that you had posted a thread for Jane Heywood, but her burial was at West Haddon, Northants 31 Mar 1848 and she was aged 66. So Thomas should be a widower in 1851 and 1861 (unless he remarried of course.

To save others looking it up, Thomas was 83 when he was buried and that was also at West Haddon, Northants.
