I had Henry 1743 and Charles (my ancestor) 1746.

I see on Ancestry there's also Mary bap 3 May 1741 and buried 16 Apr 1744.

Also Ann bap 27 Feb 1754, dau of Harry and Sarah.

There's a burial for a Harry Cox 18 Sep 1770 (could be father or son)

and one for Sarah Cox 7 May 1786

Henry named a son Charles and there's a Charles Cox having children in a run slightly ahead of Henry who I thought might be his brother. However, Charles Cox married Ury Cox in 1735 in Durweston, so it could be more complicated!

Charles Cox (the one who married Ury Cox) shows up in the apprenticeship records in 1741 as a wheeler. I presume that's a wheelwright (?) which was also the occ of my Henry's son, Charles Cox (my 4xg).

There's an apprenticeship record dated 1772 (so after the burial I listed for Harry Cax earlier) for a Harry Cox of Durweston, carpenter and wheelwright. So, is this Harry/Henry sr and his son died a couple of years earlier, or (more likely) Henry/Harry jr after the death of his father?

Just realised I've not written down the names of the children of Charles and Ury. No doubt they had a Henry/Harry too! lol

Having said that, I can't see one.

Ah, there's a will for Harry Cox 1770, which says he is the father of Harry, Charles and Ann and the husband of Sarah, so he is definitely mine :)
