Searching for a burial - Andrew Limehouse was living in Goadby Marwood, Leicestershire, in the 1790s, and his wife was buried there in 1820 (NBI3).

His daughter married in Muston, Leicestershire. Eventually both his children moved to Lincolnshire but Andrew seems to have disappeared into thin air.

Does anyone know of any sites with Leicestershire burials? There doesn't seem to be much online.

Only a link to Goadby Marwood marriages there, unfortunately. I'll update the thread to specify the contents of the link.

I have the Leicestershire county burials index 1813-1891, but the only Limehouse listed is Frances. Not all parishes are included, though. It doesn't say whether Frances was married or a widow.

Unfortunately there isn't a lot online for Leicestershire. You can buy the Goadby Marwood parish registers from Parish Chest, but it costs £15.00, which probably isn't worth it as it isn't certain he died there.

www.freereg.org.uk (http://www.freereg.org.uk) has some Leicestershire BMDs

Thanks folks. I'll trawl through any burials on that link just in case he's there, but I suspect I'm going to have to wait for more to come online.

Could the Andrew Limehouse who married in Denton, Lincs in 1829 be him, or is it a son of his?

Forget that, I've found the marriage on LincstothePast and that Andrew's a bachelor.

Thanks for looking, Mary. That marriage is his son.
