The bride's father's name is crossed out - I'm not sure why. Can anyone make it out, please?

Edit: the title should say 1690 and not 1790.

Appeared personally Richard Clarke of the Parish of St Mildred Poultry Lond and alleadgd that there is a marriage intended to be solemnizd between James Barker of the Parish of St Paul Covent Garden - in the County of Middx Bachelour aged abt 24 yeares and Sarah Williams daughter of [Doctor Williams of St M] the Parish of St Mildred Poultry Lond Spinster aged abt 20 yeares haveing the consent of her Father he not knowing of any lawfull lett or impediment to hinder the said intended marriage of the truth of which he made oath and prayd lycence For them to be marryed in the Parish Church of St Mildred Poultry aforesaid or St Martin Outwith Lond.

the bit in [] is my attempt at the bit which is crossed out. I don't know why it's crossed out though.
