I have not tracked down her actual date and place of birth. These are the sources I have:-

1890 Marriage to Daniel H Nugent - certificate states “full”
1901 Ireland Census gives 1860 and County Longford
1911 E&W census gives 1871 and Dublin, Ireland (name given as Ellen Charles)
1918 Marriage to Harry Charles – certificate states age 49 – 1869/70
1925 Death Registration gives dob as 1869

Names of parents

1890 marriage certificate gives Richard Hilliard – Land Steward
1918 marriage certificate gives Richard Hilliard (deceased) – Butler

Mother – unknown

1890 - Marriage to Daniel H Nugent on 26 January 1890 at the Roman catholic Chapel of Monkstown in the Registrar's District of Kingsdown in the Union of Rathdown in the County of Dublin.

Daniel H Nugent, age “full”, bachelor, stone cutter of 35 Mulgrave Street. Father's name Patrick Nugent and occupation Builder.
Ellen Hillard, age “full”, spinster, servant of York Road. Father's name Richard Hilliard and occupation Land Steward.

Marriage witnessed by Michael Kavanagh and Bridget Lyons.

There is an Ellen Hilliard birth registered Dublin South 1873, but presumably she is the Ellen Hillyard baptised that year whose father was Charles Hillyard.

And there is an Ellen Hilliard born 5 Feb 1867 at High Street, Eastside, Killarney, Kerry, baptised Catholic, father Richard Hilliard, occupation not shown, mother Johanna McCarthy, sponsors Charles McCarthy and Johanna Glaveen. But this is nowhere near either of the places that your Ellen says she was born!
