Please can someone find her in 1911 in Scotland? or 1911 anywhere else?

She was born 1st December 1869 in Kelso, Roxburgh, Scotland, her parents Jane (nee Brown) and Andrew Haig.

In the census from 1871 to 1901 she was living in Kelso, Swinton, and Coldstream, in Berwickshire.

According to a probate record, she died 14th February 1947, a spinster, in Berwick, Scotland.

The 1911 census search on Scotland's People gives 1 match for an Agnes S Haig age 41 in Coldstream, Berwickshire, which I assume is her.

Good luck Joy. I hope you have more success with your Kelso, Roxburgh ancestors. I know mine existed from the 1841 and 1851 Census and her shipping records but no trace of her parents marriage or deaths or her birth .. However one lives in hope lol .. If you come across any Jaffrey of any spelling I'd love to hear. Julie

I am so sorry, I have just found on the computer something that had completely slipped my memory! Please put it down to anno domini.
I would attach it but it is a PDF and I can't see how to reduce its size.
Anyway, it is the Scottish 1911 census that has Andrew Haig, saddler, age 70 and his daughter Agnes S. Haig, age 41 and his grandson Andrew N. Haig, apprentice saddler, age 17, at 49 High Street, Coldstream.

So is that the right Agnes, Joy?

Joy when I went with Daphne to a place (the name escapes me) where the Durham Records are held. I had a look at some of their Scottish printed records and they had records of small places where marriages were held where people went when they didn't want to or couldn't get married in their parishes. I had always known of Gretna but was unaware of the others. I am not sure whether I have my notes with me here or whether they are in the final box coming hom on the high seas somewhere. I have a feeling one of the places was either Coldstream or near Coldstream. Julie
