Anyone else had a look yet?

I've got a feeling this database puts paid to the theory that hoardes of English were constantly heading for the border in order to get hitched to someone they shouldn't have been marrying.

I've just done two basic searches for people by "place of residence". The first being for those from Norfolk and the 2nd Surrey. There's less than 30 hits for each and (sorry Kate) a lot of these are repeats due to mistranscriptions.

I think there are a lot of entries with no place of residence listed, Zoe. I spotted quite a lot of people on there from Cumberland, but not sure if any of them is in OH's tree yet.

Hadn't thought of the no residence.

I'm off to have a proper look now I'm home from work. I don't think I have anyone I suspect of eloping but you never know.
