Pre-1858 only.
The searchable index is on Durham University's website:
North East Inheritance Database (http://familyrecords.dur.ac.uk/nei/data/advanced.php)
And the images are on FamilySearch but browse only:
https://familysearch.org/search/collection/2358715
When you have clicked to browse, it may take a while to load completely as there are so many files. I first tried in Internet Explorer but it froze up so I switched to Opera and it worked o.k. in that I could find the reference number I needed from the Durham University index, clicked to load the file, but then all I could view was the back of the will which isn't much use, and there is nothing to click to browse through to the next or previous image. Also, the will I wanted to look at was in the 17th century, but if you want 19th century wills it looks as though you would have to wait a very long time for the list of files to load far enough for you to get at them since it starts with the 1650 ones.
So, a few problems that they need to iron out before this is much use.
