Looking for 2 deaths.

Can you help me find 2 deaths please.

1. Edith Haley b.c1890 Cholton Manchester Lancashire was the daughter of Alfred and Mary Elizabeth Haley, she is last seen in 1901 living with her parents in Hulme Lancashire.

1911 census Alfred and Mary Elizabeth Haley say they had 10 children and 8 are still living and apart from Florence 1899-1899, Edith is the only one not with the parents in 1911.


2. Agnes Hill or Haley b.c1830 Burton on Trent Staffordshire, not sure if she married William Haley as I cannot find a marriage for them.

1861 Agnes is with her mother Sarah in Cholton upon Medlock Lancashire, William Haley is a lodger.

1871 Sarah has died and Agnes is lodger/housekeeper living with William Haley and has a son Alfred Hill age 5, still in Cholton.

1881 Agnes is now Agnes Haley wife of William and Alfred is also a Haley, still in Cholton.

1891 not found

1901 Agnes (widow) is listed as Grandmother? occupation sick nurse to 9 month old Caroline, living with the Wiseman family in Brierfield Lancashire.

There is this death
Agnes Hill b. abt. 1832 died first qtr. 1906 at Blackburn Lancashire

But I`m not sure, any help would be appreciated thanks.

With Edith.......does she fit in as the other child who has died pre 1911?

There's a probate entry for the Agnes Hill you found registered Q1 1906:

HILL Agnes of Gordon-villa Infirmary Road Blackburn widow died 26 March 1906 Probate Lancaster 3 July to John Wildman railway superintendent Charles Hacking Woods architect and James Cook brushmaker Effects £1482 4s 3d

Not sure how you mean "fit in" Florence died within a couple of months of being born in 1899 and Edith was born 1890 and is on the1901 census.

I do have baptisms for all 10 children.

I have no idea who those people are Merry, so maybe that's not the death I'm looking for.

William Haley was a bricklayer and as far as I know he did not leave a will, I know the Hills had no money.

Have you discounted this death? Age is good enough.

Edith Alberta Haley age 77 Preston 1968.

There is a birth of an name removed in 1930 which might be significant or not!

I had not looked past 1911 as Alfred and Mary Elizabeth had said they had had 10 children and 8 still alive, all those 8 are with them on 1911 census, just not Edith And I know Florence died in 1899.
