Will Parsons was the son of Harry Rowland and Fanny Eliza (nee Read) Parsons of 29 Lamb St Lilyfield. He was born 19 Oct 1892 at Lilyfield, the third son of Harry and Fanny. His youngest sister, Ruth was my husbands Grandmother.

Will enlisted on 27 Jul 1915 at Warwick Farm NSW. He was 22 years and 9 months of age and had brown hair and grey eyes.

He was appointed to the 15th reinforcements of the 1st Field Ambulance

On 29th April he arrived at Tel-al-Kabir and transferred to Alexandria a month later. July 1916 saw him in Folkestone and on 1st Aug he was taken on strength at Etaples.
