I don't know much!

Link to their daughter Mary http://www.genealogistsforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=11612&highlight=mary+bunney

I have since found a settlement exam for Mary's husband Thomas which confirms that they lived briefly in Foleshill, Warwickshire so assuming that the baptism entry from there is correct this makes Mary's parents as above.

But as Mary died before the 1851 census and I can't find her on the 1841 I've no idea where she/they came from.

I've just found this 1788 baptism for a William Bunney, parents William and Mary @ St Botolph's Bishopsgate - the right area but if you look at the image http://interactive.ancestry.co.uk/1624/31281_A101387-00052/6235645?backurl=http%3a%2f%2fsearch.ancestry.co.uk %2fcgi-bin%2fsse.dll%3fdb%3dLMAearlyparish%26rank%3d1%26n ew%3d1%26so%3d3%26MSAV%3d1%26msT%3d1%26gss%3dms_r_ db%26gsln%3db%253fnney%26msbdy%3d1790%26msfng0%3dw illiam%26msmng0%3dmary%26dbOnly%3d_F0005A49%257c_F 0005A49_x%26dbOnly%3d_F00058A6%257c_F00058A6_x%26u idh%3dzs8%26msbdp%3d10&ssrc=&backlabel=ReturnSearchResults the very last entry on the right hand page - William is a daughter! Could this be Mary?

The parents on the previous entry are also William and Mary, though with a different surname, so I wonder if the person who wrote it out just accidentally copied the "daughter" bit too. The baptism entry for my 2xg-grandfather shows him as "daughter".

There is a William Bunney / Mary Heath marriage 25 Mar 1784 at St James Clerkenwell:

I had seen the Clerkenwell marriage, Kite but once again no clue as to whether it's them.

You're probably right that the baptism is a clerical error. If you turn to the next page the second entry is "son" but looks to me as if it is a corrrection from "dau" :(

As Mary and her husband went to Foleshill for a few years I did wonder if she came from there originally but although Bunney is a fairly common surname in that area there doesn't seem to be a baptism that fits.
