There's also a Margaret Willy and a Thomas Crapp.

For those doubting Thomas friends? of mine ..
My ancestors were Nicholas and Ursulla? Surname, who had a daughter Elizabeth, bapt Wendron in 1723, she married first James Mitchell in 1743 but he died in 1745 and she then married my ancestor Elisha Martin in 1747. I don't think I could trace Nicholas or Ursula that reminds me .. I should look at variants.

One of my 2x great grandmother's surname was Cocks and therefore her paternal line were Cocks. When she married the spelling was Cox. The surname seems to have been very common in Devon and Cornwall.

I have a friend who married a Kiwi and became Mrs. Co**burn. It is fine when you say it, but not how it is spelt.
