Children Baptised Perranuthnoe: Thomas 1739, Nicholas 1741, Mary 1746, Elizabeth 1749, Ann 1750, Thomas 1752.

John’s brothers I found baptised Perranuthnoe were Nicholas, John, Thomas, Walter and a sister baptised at St. Hilary - Christian.

There was another John Symons baptised at Perranuthnoe 1718 to Henary and Grace, but I considered the naming patterns and think that Nicholas was rare enough a name to decide that Nicholas and Constance were the right family. John's grandmother was Christian Jobe.

FMP has a burial for a John Simons at Perranuthnoe in 1789 but FamilySearch says 25 Dec 1780. Or possibly they are two different burials.

Thanks Kate. I found there were quite a few Simonds etc with the burials they couldn't read the names and just put the Surname.
It would be strange that two John's were buried on Christmas Day. I would think that it would be a case of one reading 9 and the other 0?
Is it strange to have a burial on 25 Dec?

I only have the year from FMP, Julie, you would need to check the image to see whether that one is 25 Dec too.

John Simons was buried on 25 December 1789.
Underneath his entry is a line, then 1790 starts.

Julie, there is also an Elizabeth Simons - it looks like 1 May 1790.
