Parents: Christopher & Elizabeth Ball. [a note added in the baptism register later states " In this John Ball's churchwardenship AD1750 the church tower was built of stone , the old one being of wood".]

"John Ball of Little Petherick and Anne Clemoes of this parish were marryd the second day of June." This, and her children's baptisms, are the only definite records I have for Ann/e.
John & Ann had 8 children.

15 Feb 1763, Little Petherick, Cornwall.
John's son, Christopher Ball's tombstone also records "John Ball whose pious exertions when church Warden AD 1750 posterity will long be indebted for the tower now standing in this churchyard."

[Curiously THIS Christopher Ball lived at Trevilledor Farmhouse near St. Ervan, and years later, his granddaughter ended up there, although it was never lived in by her parents - she's my gt gt grandmother, Honor Brewer Pope. Broad. ).
