Lancs OPC has an Ann Stott buried 9 Oct 1818 at Shaw Chapel, Oldham, age 71, abode Shawside. And another one buried 19 Jan 1820 also at Shaw Chapel, age 73, abode Narrowgate Lane. But they don't have Charles's burial on there, so I guess he was buried somewhere else? In which case probably Ann was buried with him and neither of these is her. I'll have a look on ancestry.

I have Charles buried 1796 Oldham (I noted Chapel not sure if that should be Chapelcroft). I also have some confusion with a place associated with the family some of the records call it Maygate lane others Maggot lane .. (I was adding notes on the tree instead of putting it into Notes .. now I'm more confused ..)

Okay, found the image for Charles's burial on ancestry and he was buried at St Mary, Oldham, and it says he was of Maygatelane. But I can't see a burial for Ann there.

I am wondering if she remarried? Charles was 33 when they married. Ann gave birth to children for the next 22 years.. so I'd say she was quite a bit younger. She would still have had the 14 yr old Sarah with her when Charles died. Sarah was probably working in cottage industry too, I wonder if I track Sarah whether I can find Ann?

Are you sure that Sarah born 1782 didn't die before Sally 1785 was christened, Julie? Sally was a nickname for Sarah.

Confusion !! as normal .. between 1779 and 1785 I noted 3 baptisms and 2 burials.
Sally bpt 7/5/1779 brd 19/4/1781; Sarah 28/7/1782; Sally Bpt 24/7/1785 brd 20/10/1786. Of course they could belong to a different family .. lots of Stotts ..
I also could have written my notes incorrectly.
