London Poor Law Abstracts (http://www.origins.net/BritishOrigins/Search/General/LondonPoorLaw/BOSearchLondonPoorLaw.aspx?utm_source=SendBlaster&utm_medium=email&utm_term=London%20Poor%20Law&utm_content=London%20Poor%20Law&utm_campaign=Newsletter%20%2D%20Poor%20Law%20%5BDe c%202013%5D)

You can search for free but have to buy a subscription to view the results. The cheapest sub is 72 hours for £7 (make sure not to choose Origins Total Access instead as this costs more, unless you want to view Irish records too.)

They have 25 records for Pond - perhaps I should get a sub.

None of them is for Henry Pond, Elizabeth. None for Hannah either, though there are two Mary Pond entries in the early 1800's.

These are updated records - they originally had Abstracts from 1742-1868 and I found one very useful snippet of information. Now I can't remember if the other names that are coming up now appeared before and been discounted or are new records!

You can put a year range in your search, Sue. I didn't realise it was an update; I can't see anything about that in the email they sent out. Thanks for the information.

Thanks for letting me know, Kate.

I was searching from the home page that doesn't have a date option! Have now decided not to bother taking out another sub, even for 72hrs.
It's worth pointing out that it is only City of London records. A full list of what's included is here http://www.origins.net/help/aboutbo-poorlaw-parishes.aspx
