Martha Cooper is born c 1780, she says in Hilgay, Norfolk. I knew she married a Mr Wheeler. I didn't expect her to marry in Surrey.

If the marriage of Martha Cooper to Mark Wheeler is online (it's in St Mary Newington) could someone see who the witnesses are? Her friends in the area are Hughes, Lines, Llewellyn. He comes from Dudley, so I doubt if he has many local friends.

Brilliant, Elizabeth! Ann was her sister & most of the extended family were in St Giles, Camberwell. How stupid of me to think that Martha had stayed in Norfolk. This family seemed to have yo-yod all over the place.
