Can anyone read the missing word for Thomas Standley, in Kensington aged 60 in 1851?

Could it be Manufactory with the word split and factory written on the next line?

A few pages further on someone is listed as working in a Honiton Lace Manufactory, so it seems to be a term the enumerator used.
