Mary McAllum born 27 Mar 1819 Irvine, Ayr, same parents. Jean McCallum born 26 May 1828 and baptised 1 May 1828 at Dundonald, Ayr, parents John McCallum and Margaret Wilson.

Then they have a marriage of Helen McCallum to William Spence 13 Oct 1837 at Dundonald, Ayr. The 1841 census, according to ancestry, has William and Helen Spence living in Dundonald with children Robert and Margaret, and an ancestry member has added Helen's maiden name McCallum citing her 1858 death cert as the source. In 1851 ancestry have transcribed their surname as Spencer but someone has corrected it to Spence, and Helen is age 32 born Dundonald.
