Hi,

My great x 4 grandmother is Ann Conway. She married Moses Carter in Hammersmith on the 5th January 1835.

I am struggling to find a likely baptism for her and hoping for a little help.

Her approx birth changes in year from each census and death cert. This is what I have:
1841 Census - Nothing. Census is probably missing for the area of Kensington she was living at with Moses.
1851 Census - Aged 49 and living at High Street, Dunstable with family. Says birthplace is Hampstead, Middlesex.
1861 Census - Still at High Street, Dunstable. Moses has deserted family by this point. She's now 54. Same birthplace given.
Ann died at High Street, Dunstable on the 3rd July 1865. A friend registered the death. Age given as 65.

Any help is really appreciated :)

Pallot's Marriage Index shows their marriage was at Hammersmith St Paul and that Ann was a spinster, but ancestry doesn't seem to have the images for that church for 1835. FMP has a transcript but I don't know how much detail is given as I don't have a sub. I was just wondering whether you have the witnesses' names?

There's no more detail on FMP, I'm afraid.

There is a Henry Conway, son of John and Ann, born 19 Jul 1788 and baptised 17 Aug 1788, and a William Conway, son of John and Ann, born 18 Nov 1795 and baptised 9 Oct 1796 at St John at Hampstead. Then Elizabeth, daughter of John and Eleanor Conway, born Oct 12 1805 and baptised Jan 26 1806 and a Jane Conway buried 27 Nov 1808 but no age etc given for her.

I wonder whether any of these are related to your Ann.

I really dont know if any of those people are related to Ann. Apart from her marriage and where she ended up after that, I know nothing about her before the marriage. Not sure where to go to try and work out if any of those are related to her.
