Mary Ede, or Mary Dench or Mary Baker
There are a surfeit of Thomas Pierce/Marys around in Sussex in the 1780s and 1790s.
They all seem to marry by licence, but I cannot locate any allegations to see if more information could be obtained.
All I can say is that they were in Cowfold, Sussex for their son Charles to be baptised in 1788.
Charles gave all his children popular names, or after his wife's family, so no clues there.
