It looks as though you need a world sub to view the records on the UK site.

And as far as I can see, there is no findmypast Canada site as yet, so I assume the Canadian content is included in a US sub to the US site? (If so then I don't understand why they can't combine the UK and Ireland sites together with a sub covering both, as they now have an Australia / New Zealand site and a US / Canada site?)

That's the same data which has been added to the UK world sub, Janet. I don't think the US site ever has any announcements of new data on it, or if it does I don't know where. But they do have a blog which says the Canadian data is new:
