There is a baptism on LMA but there are a couple of discrepancies

Jackie - you genius. That's them as at marriage Hannah went by the name of Annie. I always get daunted by searching my Walkers and Webbs as there's so many hits for each name

of course now I'm left with the mystery of how I had him born 21/12/1875 and yet his baptism is January 1875 (giving same date but 1874).

I'm going away for the weekend in about 2 hours otherwise I'd start hunting out all his certs

I did wonder whether the priest made a mistake what with it being the start of the year but it doesn't look like it.

Perhaps the registrar made that mistake ie. registered in early 1875 but born in 1874. Its the sort of thing I do at the beginning of a new year :confused:

I had a quick look for him on the National Probate Calendar but didn't find anything.
