Mary Moffatt was born in Southend, Argyllshire, c1846. Her mother was Catherine Carnegie, who was also born in Southend. No father is named in the OPRs, but I suspect he had the surname Moffatt!

In 1851, Mary, her mother and grandmother were all 'on the parish' in Campbeltown.

In 1871, Mary is with her parents, along with her two illegitimate daughters.
