Do the census pages for Scotland give marital status?

Yes, they do on the actual images (except for 1841) but ancestry haven't transcribed them in most cases. I'm sure FreeCEN will have transcribed them, though, and probably FMP.

Edit - I've checked a random entry on FMP and they had indeed transcribed marital status.

Do remember that many Scottish married women used their maiden name!

It's OK, OC - this woman I've looked up turns out to be single. I'm none the wiser really! lol

I tend to go for the statutory death records as usually it gives both married name(s) and maiden name, and parents names which helps a lot. Sometimes though the informant doesn't know.
