Richard Marshall was born about 1747 and Dorothy Creswell was baptised 2 Jun 1744 Penkridge, Staffordshire, daughter of John. They married 30th May 1770 at Penkridge, bachelor and spinster.
Richard and Dorothy had five sons baptised at Penkridge, some of whom stayed in the area. At some point, the couple moved to Wednesfield, where one of their sons lived.
