I've found a few snippets in this through google books -

Oxfordshire record series - Volume 10 - Page 66

books.google.co.uk/books?id...
Oxfordshire Record Society - 1928 - Snippet view - More editions

I can't understand how to find if of where I can get to view this book. Can someone explain please

If you click on "Where's the rest of this book?" it explains why you only get snippet view:

This is the Oxfordshire Record Society's website, but some of their older publications are shown as out of print:

I think the one you have found snippets of is Sidney A. Peyton The churchwardens' presentments in the Oxfordshire peculiars of Dorchester, Thame, and Banbury. 1928

Abebooks do list a copy for sale but it's quite expensive:

Also there is a button you can click on on Google Books to search for the book in libraries. You have to put in where you live so it can look for the nearest ones.

I think Oxfordshire History Centre will probably have a copy.

Thank you very much for your help, Kate and sorry to take so long replying - the day took an unexpected turn.

That is the book and I'll follow your instructions - really need to get to OHC I think now

Thanks for the advice - Oxfordshire History Centre have the book and will send me copies of the pages on Pishill for £5.40 - I'm finding they provide such a good service
