I would like to eliminate him from my enquiries if possible!

I have mine in 1861, so he cannot be the son of Samuel and Ellen unfortunately. It was a long shot but did look rather good at first sight!

I wanted to eliminate Joseph with parents Samuel and Ellen. If he appeared with his parents in 1861 then he couldn't be mine, who also appeared in 1861, with his parents.

I've never been able to find a birth reg or baptism for mine, but I was checking out a possible baptism in 1853, right area, right sort of church, mother's name Ellen.
