Nice to see someone else with some ancestors in the Cocking-Graffham area of West Sussex.

We might be remotely connected, if I could find out who Charles Tupper's parents were.
William Tupper born 1792 Graffham (to Thomas and Ann) (probably was Charles' older brother) married a Jane Ayling born about 1797 (baptised Rumboldswyke).

Marquette, it's a lovely area. We visited 3 or 4 years ago.

I'm trying to sort out my Aylings. I haven't looked at them for a while.
If I find anything that might interest you I'll post it.

Marquette, you might have seen this page listing wills, but I thought I'd paste it just in case you hadn't:

I have not done much on the Tuppers for while - if only I could be sure that Charles parents were Thomas and Ann - it seems likely, and even probable, but whoever wrote up his baptism neglected to name his parents. I only have "Thomas" from his death certificate.

I will check out the links though, you never know where a clue will show up !

And none in Graffham or Woolavington at that time.

I will do some more on my "probable" tree.
