Born c 1730, presumably in Iwerne Minster, Dorset. Son of William & Ann.
The early parish registers do not survive but he is named, with distinctive siblings, in his mother's will.
Married Ann Satchell 25 Jun 1757, Iwerne Minster
Buried 22 June 1801 Iwerne Minster.
His mother's will laid such stress on her apple trees and the cyder press that I had always assumed they were farmers, but all his sons were masons, so that must have been a family trade.
He inherited part of his mother's house.
