There are two baptisms for Elizabeth Holly in Burlescombe.

- Elizabetha Holly, 10 April 1722, parents Davidis Holly and Elizabethae
- Elizabetha Holly, 30 January 1724, Davidis Holly and Elizabethae

This looks like a good match for your Elizabeth who appears to have been named after her sibling.

There's an older record, too.

Elizabetha Holly, 19 July 1711, parents are Jacobi Holly and Elizabethae.

Thanks Shona.

On the Aylesford website you mentioned on Elizabeth's husband's thread
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ayshford/Henry%20The%20Inheritor.html
Elizabeth's parents are named, but not confirmed, as David & Elizabeth so the Elizabeth baptised in 1724 you found seems like a good candidate for 'mine'.

Although the website family history says:

After the death of Henry Ayshford in 1742 we enter into a little Dark Age as regards the events within the family. Apart from the burial of Tamar Stephens in 1747 (Henry's sister and a resident of Sampford Peverell) the next item of note is the marriage of Amos Ayshford to Elizabeth Holly on 29th December 1749 at Burlescombe. We have Elizabeth's baptism in the same parish but her parents David & Elizabeth Holly have yet to be positively identified.

The info I posted came from Family Search.

Thank you again Shona.

I looked on Family Search, but couldn't find that information. I think the 'new' site is just out to confuse me! ;)
