Joan Adams was baptised 23 May 1726 in Malborough, the daughter of William Adams of Batson and Mary nee Adams
Joan married Nicholas Adams 1752 in Malborough. So far as I am aware, none of the two sets of parents had any closer relationship than first cousins.
Joan appears to have been an only child and when she died 18 February 1815, she is described as "of Batson" It is difficult to tell from the references, but Batson appears to be a small locality rather than a single house.
Joan was buried 22 Feb 1815 in Malborough and commemorated with a ledger slab in the church.
