My London A-Z has a Grimston Road but it is at Parson's Green (Fulham), nowhere near Greenwich. The nearest I can find in there is Grinstead Road, which is in Deptford so I would have thought it should be West Greenwich rather than East, and anyway I can't find that one on the censuses.

thanks for looking Kite ,Deptford sounds more likely , I cannot find it at all though.
Been trying to find Mary Morris's marriage to a Palmer which would help.

Thanks Kite the deceased died 13 Nov 1888 I hope I am assuming right that Mary the informant would have been his wifes sister ?
if so she was born in 1839 Narberth Wales

Well, sister in law could also mean stepsister. I can't find anything likely at the moment. Do you want to post some details of the deceased and his wife, and I'll try again from that?
