I'm sure you have this already, but for reference, her age is about 65 on her burial (surname spelt Thackall) which would mean she was born about 1718. But that would make her about 34 when she got married so maybe it is wrong!

Thanks, Kate. Yes I did have her age from the burial (goodness knows why I didn't include that here :o). As you say, she was quite 'old' at marriage if that age is correct, but I have found a larger percentage of Quaker women marrying in their very late 20s and up to mid-30s when compared to the rest of my tree, so she might have been that age - hard to say! She does seem to be the only Youd on the Quaker records, so I'm imagining she converted to marry Thomas, but imagining that hasn't helped me! lol

Oh, have you tried googling Youd?!!!

Try this?

youd family name +(elizabeth youd)

EDIT: Well, not as fruitful as I had hoped, and indeed very frustrating when they keep handing you references to pages containing "you would"! :(

Thank you Janet.

they keep handing you references to pages containing "you would"!

Yes, it seems almost impossible to eliminate those!
