John Popple’s will was made on 22nd December 1810.
One of the witnesses was William Forman, who had married Ann Wood, née Newbourn, who was the mother of Newbourn Wood, thehusband of John’s only child Martha. Martha predeceased both her parents, having died in 1802.

Whilst at Lincolnshire Archives I consulted a book written by one of the vicars in which a plan of the graveyard is shown with sketches of some of the graves, but I can't find the stones. I think he might have stopped before 1811. However, I have a sketch of the grave of John Popple's mother, Elizabeth.
