Any help much appreciated - this is the first time I've uploaded a pic so fingers crossed :-)

I did have a go at this yesterday Asa, but my effort was rubbish, so I got rid of it.
Are all those marks water stains? I have had good results going over old photos with a damp cotton bud which has somet]imes got off loads of dirt, but presumably wouldn't help here......

You ladies are amazing .. I can't believe how you do that .. simply incredible.
Thank you both so much - fantastic!
Merry, they are water marks. It's one of a pair with her husband so I'm very chuffed :-)

Fantastic work Niksmum.
Seeing the original then rolling down to see your restored photo was a real treat because speaking as a professional who does this for a living I really couldn't see fault with it. So well done.
A small reservation would be with the second image where you have cropped the photo, the photo seems to have a smoother finish and doesn't look as natural as you first one.
