Name - "official" name and what they were known as: Frances Caborn (Cabourn)

Date and place of birth: Circa 1782 in Lincolnshire

Names of parents: Unknown

Date and place of baptism: Unknown

Details of each of his or her marriages: 1st June 1807 at St Botolph, Boston, Lincs., to Thomas Moor. Both of the Parish. Witnesses were James Storey & Hugh Stamp who appear unconnected to the couple.

1841 Census: Witham Green, Boston, Lincs. Age was rounded to 55 and states that she was born in the county. She is with two of her children; Robert & Joseph.

Date, place and cause of death: 9th August 1848 aged 66. Widow of Thomas Moore, Porter. Died of Senile Decay. Death was registered by Sarah Betts who is listed as a friend of Archer Lane, Boston.

Date and place of burial: 13th August 1848 at St Botolph, Boston. Age on the record is given as 62.

Details of will / administration of their estate: Have not found any will.

I can't find any more with the name Frances

I noticed that one earlier too and havnt completely discounted it, but its not overly likely.

There is discrepancy on her age at death so she could have been older than her family and her friend who registered her death thought she was.

However, she had a child in 1826 which would have made her 49 when she had him. I know its not impossible, but not overly likely either.

Frances's daughter, Matilda, married John Betts. Sarah Betts (nee Kirk) was John's mother.

Thank you Shona. I havnt done much research in to all the children of Thomas & Frances. I know I really should :o
