on Ancestry how do you go to the tree you have been given permission to view ? thanks

My own tree
Start a new tree
and upload a Gedcom

Did the tree owner send you a message with an invitation to view the tree, Val, and if so, did it have a link to click on?

they did Kite thanks but I lost it was hoping there was a list of ones I had access to ??

I think you only get a list of the ones that you have been made an "editor" of.

You get a list of ones you are guest to

Maybe they cut your access

Presumably you haven't got ancestry open in anoher tab. You'd see there is quite simply a tab, that drops down a list. The tab is labelled 'Family trees''

Have you received an email from Ancestry confirming your permission to view the tree? Mine went in my spam folder. If you did and the tree isn't showing then the tree owner has removed access.

It is under the Family tree tab, I don't have editor access to any of the ones I can see.
