Many thanks Elizabeth. The family were found mistranscribed in the 1851 Census as Stimpson, where I think Sarah was down as widow. I don't think Glen could find his death at the RO, but that nice lady who we met at the RO might have access to other records. She emailed and offered to help, so I might ask her before I buy that 1847 cert, but it appears pretty likely to be him. Cheers.
