Married Sarah Joyner 5 March 1810 at Lytchett Minster after banns. James could sign his name and said he was of Hamworthy. witnesses Catherine Furmage and Henry Burns.
That was the church for Hamworthy residents and Sarah's family were living at Hamworthy.

First child Robert (the name of Sarah's father) was born 27 Nov 1810 at Poole and baptised a month later at the Wesleyan Chapel in Poole.

James bp 1814 in Poole parish church. Born Ham. Father's occupation labourer.

Susannah b 1820 in Hamworthy, bp Lytchett (named after Sarah's mother)

Sarah (rather than James) gave several days work to help rebuild Hamworthy parish church.

James died and was buried in Hamworthy 23 July 1827, aged 40

Have found an extra child, Ann b circ 1824 in Hamworthy, no trace of baptism. Married George Musslewhite and lived in Hamworthy until her death aged 33. Named her father as James Moore, shipwright and a brother in law witnessed the marriage.
