Name - "official" name and what they were known as
Sarah Quait or Quaif Transcript of marriage says Quait but her husband has 2 children George & Sarah Quaif with him in 1841. In 1814 (a year before her marriage Sarah Quaif servant has an illegitimate child called Amelia bapt at St Thomas, Cliffe [Lewes] the next parish to Rodmell. Then an Amelia Quaif has a son George bapt at Piddinghoe just s of Rodmell in 1833 who would appear to be the boy with the family in 1841

Daughter was Lucy Penfold b1821 Rodmell, who does not yeat feature on this forum.

I've only known about Sarah for 2 days so have not been able to look at the relevant microfiches yet, it's all from transcripts.
