Sue, there is a LUCY TONGS, daughter of Robert and Mary Tongs, who was baptised on 22nd November 1773 at Stockbridge.

Sue, I'll have a look at my Hampshire burials CD later on today if no one else comes along with a burial before that. It should find her if she die before 1837. Have you looked for a death 1837-41?

This looks very hopeful :)

Burial date 12th Feb 1837 Lucy Roe buried at Stockbridge, aged 63.

So that would make her year of birth about 1773/74 which fis perfectly with the baptism found by Elizabeth :)

FMP has lots of burials for Tong(e)s at Stockbridge.

John Cole Tonge was buried on 29 Jul 1841 aged 73.
