Family Search has Samuel Nash, baptised 27 July 1755, North Petherton, Somerset. Parents are John and Mary Nash.

The North Petherton village website has transcribed various parish records and has the burial of Samuel Nash in N Petherton in 1826, aged 77, which would mean being born in c1749.

The Family Search record is the best match I've found.
