Vallee

I don't subscribe to Ancestry, so I can't see your link, but maybe they are the brother and sister of George 1809?

The household also includes George Tyler, 77. Not born in county.

Emma and Isabella could easily be sisters to George junior.

Emma and Isabella aren't with George and Sheba in 1851.

My guess would be that they were Sheba's children from before her marriage and that they married or died as Miller.

No particular help, but the witnesses to the marriage were friends of George: James Moss & Ann Ward, widow married, with George as a witness.

Ahha

William Ward widow married Ann MILLER and a witness was Sheba Miller. Spitalfields 1817.

oh thanks a lot Mary did you find that marriage on Ancestry ?

If you mean me, Vallee, yes, both of them are on Ancestry. I assume it must be the same Ann throughout, but you'd need to print them out or play around to compare the signatures.

A William Owen Tucker (solicitor) & Sheba have a daughter Isabella.

She marries from 8 Foster St St Botolphs in 1850. George and Sheba were living in Foster Street in 1841.

I note that William Owen Tucker's wife appears to be called Matilda.

I may, of course, be maligning everyone:d

Hmm, having checked where Sheba was living in 1851 (8 Foster Street) I might be right:D:D

And this, I think, is Emma's marriage:

Hmm, William Owen Tucker, SOLICITOR, died without leaving a will. I wonder if he left a will, and the sons prudently destroyed it? He certainly appears to have had plenty of children!

On Ancestry, I can see the following births recorded for William Owen Tucker and Sheba Tucker:

Mary Ann: 10 June 1821
William: 26 August 1929
Isabella: 26 August 1829

William Owen Tucker Esq, married Matilda Elizabeth Malpas on 25 March 1826.

In 1829 he (or she!) is glossing over his occupation.

It looks as if Sheba finished with him after she married but there's another poor mite who died as a baby in the early 1830s who he fathered on yet another woman.

Good grief! And these are the ones we know about...

He died in 1865 with effects of less than £300 (child maintenance?). Letters of administration to son and next of kin, Joseph, stock jobber.

Shona

The reference to child maintenance was purely mine - that's not on Ancestry.
