Ooh, FreeREG has that 1825 burial and it looks likely to be her because the age is 29. It looks likely that Catherine had a different mother.
Cheers Kate is that named as Sauders or Sanders ???

The older children had mother Caroline who was buried in 1825.
Aha! I thought that the FamilySearch pilot site would treat Saunders and Sanders as close matches, but now I've realised it doesn't always, I've found these baptisms at St Peter Wolverhampton:
William Sanders 26 Dec 1820, parents James and Caroline
George Saunders 9 Jul 1823, parents James and Caroline
But then it gets a bit confusing looking for baptisms for the other children from the 1841 census entry - James jnr about 1829-30, Ann about 1833-4 and Catherine about 1835-6. There are two possible baptisms for James jnr, one with a mother Catherine and the other with a mother Maria, and a possible for Catherine in 1836 with mother Ann.
Then neither of those 1851 families quite fits with the 1841 family!
So,, I wonder when Sarah came along? If he married her after 1837 then the marriage cert would provide James's father's details.

The baps with mother Catherine and mother Catherine Ann may be (not investigated yet) the children of this carriers clerk (1861 below) so not the right James.

Hmmm, FamilySearch has a marriage 24 Jun 1827 at St Thomas, Dudley, Worcestershire, between James Saunders and Ann Maria Sharp, but it has them both down as "single" rather than James being a widower.
I have looked at marriages all over the place Kate used beta LDS site used FMP and ancestry and got no where with it all I can think of is she must have lived somewhere else and got married there but haha where???
Thanks for the baptisms pet much appreciated
Oops, sorry Babs!!! :o Thanks Kate, that's the site!!

Found Harriett Saunders age 12 on the 1841 census, servant to a family called Johns in Wolverhampton. And a possible for Emily Jane - Jane Sanders age 15, servant to a family called Bagley.
In 1851, Ann Maria Sanders age 19 born Wolverhampton is a servant for a family called Elwell.
I know none of this really helps but just so nobody looks for them all over again later.
Catherine Sanders married James Morton at St Marks 22nd March 1857 according to that site Kate posted up. (father James, carver and gilder)
But wouldnt you have thought that with all the years someone might have said Saunders or do you think Sanders is soundex of it
Cheers lasses I wouldnt have took any notice to any Saders as I kept looking for Saunders though the 1851 was just blip
My great-aunt married a Sanders but my mum always spelled it Saunders even though she pronounced it Sanders!
MMMM right Merry must be so then
