Here's a lesson in noting sources!
I have just found in my Frederick Henry Foster 'stuff' the cardboard backing from a shorthand notepad on which I have written
"F Foster on the Baltic from NY 25 Jan arr 5 Feb 1855".
No idea where I got this from as I have never had Ancestry ww subs. Have googled various terms but can't find anything that would take my eye.
Could sks please take a peek at the lists on A WW for me? I'm not even sure there ARE lists from NY to UK:rolleyes:
The thing is, this date fits a possible return perfectly.
